Cover it all – or at least most of it!
Overalls and coveralls are cute and practical, and when they fit great, they are also very comfortable. In this 3+ day workshop, you will make your choice of one-piece garment with excellent fit and precise finishing details.
Costume technician, expert fitter, and me-made rockstar instructor Caroline Cook will lead students through the whole process: choosing a size, making a mockup and adjusting the fit, and stellar construction & finishing details. The workshop is in a bright solar-powered commercial sewing workshop with access to some professional sewing tools.

In this class you will learn and practice:
Taking accurate measurements and choosing the right size
Good mockup-making technique
Identifying fit issues and how to fix them, for BOTH upper and lower body
Garment finishing techniques
Caroline will recommend some patterns that she has personal experience with, but students can choose their own pattern.
Class size is limited to allow for personal attention and maxes out at 8 students.

Who’s this class for?
You should have some experience sewing garments – if you’ve made at least a couple garments from a pattern before, you’ll do fine. New students may be encouraged to make simpler design/finishing choices and may not finish their garment by the end of class (but will have the skills to complete it at home). Experienced students may be able to make some adaptations to their pattern to make it extra-customized, and fast workers may even start a second garment! EVERYBODY will leave with a custom-fitted pattern.
